In preparation for the upcoming version 2.0, we have completely decoupled the music and material analysis pipelines, introduced a powerful advanced tag editor, and crafted a professional high-density UI.

Pure Lab Dev Log - Pipeline Decoupling, Advanced Tag Editor & v2.0 Sneak Peek

🚀 Recent Developments

Summary: This update marks a significant milestone toward the Pure Lab 2.0 era. We’ve not only achieved complete decoupling of music and material pipelines in the core architecture but also introduced the all-new Advanced Tag Editor and a high-density UI matrix for professional workflows.

🛠️ 1. Decoupled Music & Material Analysis Pipelines

To better serve both standard music and specialized audio materials, we completely overhauled the backend analysis architecture:

  • Independent Execution Paths
We’ve split “Music Analysis” and “Material Analysis” into distinct workflows.
  • Quick Analysis Mode
Materials now utilize a high-speed analysis mode (>=5s threshold), ensuring rapid processing without being bottlenecked by the longer thresholds required for full music tracks.
  • Dynamic Routing
This structural separation ensures that both workflows run efficiently and independently.

✨ 2. Enter the Advanced Tag Editor (AdvTagEditor)

We have officially deprecated the legacy batch editor in favor of an entirely new, sophisticated tagging interface:

  • Field-Level Batch Editing
Experience precise batch overriding and auto-inference logic on a per-field basis, dramatically streamlining the organization of vast libraries.
  • Tokenized Visuals
Includes color-coded tags and refined typography, providing a clear overview of complex metadata at a glance.
  • Premium UX
The interface layout is designed to match modern professional software, offering a high-end, tactile experience.

🎨 3. High-Density UI & Subscription Matrix

To provide users with the clearest possible information, we’ve refactored major interaction panels:

  • Horizontal Matrix View
Transformed the subscription comparison (Free/Plus/Pro) into a high-density horizontal matrix, allowing for immediate, side-by-side contrast of tier capabilities.
  • Global Polish
Unified UI borders, aligned elements, and stripped away redundant lock icons for a cleaner and more efficient experience.

⚡ 4. History View & Organizer Refinements

  • Flattened Tag Diffs
In the History View, modifications to Custom Tags are now flattened into individual rows, making it crystal clear exactly what changed.
  • Backend Sync Optimization
Moved the database sync logic for file renaming entirely into the backend, preventing any interface lag during large-scale operations.

🌟 Coming Soon: Version 2.0!

All of this recent workflow decoupling and UI polishing is setting the stage for our biggest leap yet: Pure Lab 2.0.

In v2.0, you will experience a truly mature “Dual-Engine” ecosystem. Whether you are a collector managing tens of thousands of vinyl rips or a sound designer sorting fast-paced foley effects, you’ll feel right at home. With newly separated analysis engines, advanced data tagging, and millisecond search speeds, the ultimate organizer is almost here. Stay tuned!
